Hunger.

Hi friends!


So our friends the dougies hooked us up with tickets to the Hunger Games premier.  We got to see it at 6:10 last night, it was fabulous. Forrest and I haven't read the book yet so Forrest hurried and read the book, I tried...but when I sat down to read it I would fall asleep...so I didn't finish it. We made some awesome shirts! I was proud of Forrest for making his own shirt, it turned out so perfect! my shirt had a hungry hippo and said hungry hungry hunger games (instead of a mockingjay) I can't tell you how many weird looks I got, it was entertaining. My favorite line was "um,  do you know thats a hippo" Since I didn't read the books I thought the hungry hippo was funny because it was a "hunger game" but apparently not to many people got it. Don't mess with hard core Hunger Games fans. Well we watched the movie and got cool VIP lanyards, I felt pretty important! Especially when I walked by all the CRAZY lines for people waiting for the midnight showings. As for the movie/books....the whole idea of a world where they treat people so horribly just for laughs and entertainment is disturbing. I couldn't get over it. By the end of the movie I felt sick to my stomach and sad. I'm not sure if I'm going to finish the rest of the series.
