30 weeks and happy.

Well, we are in the home stretch. I've gained a total of (are you ready for this?) 20 pounds! phew, that is crazy! Forrest has been a trooper between the random melt downs and the suddenly feeling sicky-ness. He also doesn't judge me while I indulge in my crazy cravings. (past week was double hot fudge sunday from McDonalds-WITH nuts)

so far this pregnancy has been a breeze. I still get a good workout everyday (yay for elliptical machine) and I'm really looking forward for our pool opening up! Since being pregnant I hear LOTS of other women's pregnancy stories-can I just say YIKES! some of the stories were straight out of a horror movie. But now I know I'm a lucky one! I just get "fainting spells" which is really annoying, especially because they usually happen during the most inconvenient times. (like at the doctors office, Movie theater, restaurants...etc.) I haven't had any crazy swelling in my feet/legs and I can still do pretty much everything I usually do. Except rearrange the furniture (I did that at least once a month) I also bump my belly on things/people (awkward...) Sometimes I bonk my violin bow on my belly while I play-it throws me off every time! (also froggers either really likes when I play violin or really hates it because there is a party in my tummy every time I play)

Cravings (because that is the third question people always ask me-after "how do I feel" and "when are you due")

  • double fudge sunday with nuts
  • WATERMELON(it was killer when it wasn't in season)
  • Tomatoes
  • cold water (all the time, I'm basically a mermaid...well lets be honest here-manatee)
  • strawberries
Things that make my face turn green when I think about eating:

  • pickles (WHAT?! I usually LOVE pickles)
  • any hamburger meat-including tacos.
  • the smell of fried food (like when you drive by restaurants)
  • Garlic
The list is always changing but pickles have been on the no list since day one.

Favorit part so far: When random people tell me what to do-like not paint my nails or cashiers at grocery stores telling me what foods I should eat.  (not really my favorite part, I was being sarcastic)
I DO really love when the baby moves because it feels so funny and my tummy looks like whinne the pooh's when he has a rumbly in his tumbly! 69 days left until we get to hold this little squishy ball of baby.
