If I don't get any comments I will feel unloved. no pressure. (ok, maybe a little bit of pressure.)

  1. I'm not very good at getting motivated to work out AT ALL! But I'm trying SO HARD right now to eat healthy and do a small workout every day. I'm doing the Slim in 6 workout...love it! It starts easy and gets harder the last couple weeks. The thing that is motivating me the most right now is that next year I want to take a getaway vacation with Jimmy in California. We can leave the kids with my parents and get an amazing hotel by the beach and I want to look HOT! Also, I need more energy to play with and take care of my kids. I want to be a sexy mom! I want to feel good about myself. My self esteem is in the toilet and I just need to feel good. We could help each other if you want! We have to tell each other how we're doing. That way we'll feel bad if we eat something we're not supposed to or we don't work out!

  2. slim in 6 hu? That sounds cool. ok, yes my goal shall be to look like a hot mama for summer!! YES! We can do this!! I did a workout called Turbo Jam before I got pregnant and I loved it but now I start it and I'm like...uh I'm going to die! Also, I LOVE food (mainly the worst possible food choices are the ones I love) I just don't have the same mind set I once had. I've got it, we shall work together and we should get an outfit in our goal size so we have a visual of what we want to look like...I don't know, just some ideas haha. But we should totally help each other out!

  3. Try a yoga or pilates for new mamas ...They even have some you do with your baby- fun for both of you- extra weight for you to hold! :) also I really like Jillian Michaels DVDs ...they are 20 min long so not as brutal as some but they totally work! Give yourself a goal of just a few minutes a day and work up to more. When I'm trying to get back into a routine it is much harder if I'm overwhelmed with the intensity or time commitment. Keep in mind there are muscles that have been working a different way for 9 mo- It takes time to get them working like you are used to! You could try and break a sweat running or walking baby around in the stroller, then its fun for baby which is more motivation for you! Good luck! :)

  4. I saw this thing on pinterest that I'm actually working on for myself. Basically you utilize a workout routine that works for you (see Pinterest for inspiration). Start with 2 jars, cups, bowls ...etc (whatever). workout and do your best to eat healthy. each week you drop a pound you move a pebble, sticker, a slip of paper (whatever you like) from one jar to the empty jar. It is supposedly a good motivation because though you might not feel like you are loosing weight, you can visually see your progress. :)

Also, I've heard that it is important to stick to a schedule that works for you. Maybe attaching ankle weights and putting Addie in a stroller and walking around the block works for you. But whatever it is, do it! Plus, a goal of something that you want works. Pull out a pair of jeans from before pregnancy, or maybe find a cute dress, swimsuit or something that if you reach your target goal, you can purchase and know you'll look good.

Remember, make small little goals that lead to an over all goal.

    Good Luck!

  5. After having my little guy, I made a goal to run a half marathon. I trained for 10 months and ran my first half! I'm hooked now. I know a lot of people don't like running, and to be honest I had been running during my pregnancy, but the first run post-pregnancy sucked! It wasn't till a couple of weeks of running SLOW and consistently did I feel good. I love running because it burns a lot of calories, gives me time to think, listen to music, and sometimes get outside. I LOVE food, since I burn a lot of calories I can eat a lot of what I want=) I also do Jillian Michael videos. I hope this helps!!
